Star Bread Chips

These Star Bread Chips are the perfect crispy, herby snack made from sandwich bread and pantry staples. A fun way to use up stale bread — shaped, baked, and absolutely addictive.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp rosemary fresh or dried
  • 1 tsp oregano fresh or dried
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 loaf sandwich bread stale is best

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut bread into star shapes using a cookie cutter or slice into strips or triangles. Arrange on the baking sheet.
  • Mix olive oil, rosemary, oregano, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Brush both sides of the bread pieces with the oil mixture.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Customize with garlic powder, chili flakes, or cinnamon sugar for a sweet version. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
