Dough and Baking Essentials

  • 1 can crescent roll dough Pillsbury original recommended
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • all-purpose flour for dusting
  • 1 egg optional, for egg wash
  • pink sugar optional, for decorating bunny ears

Filling Options

  • spinach-artichoke dip pre-made or store-bought
  • cold herb cream cheese or chicken salad optional savory variations
  • scrambled eggs, ham, or smoked salmon alternative savory fillings

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly spray or line a baking sheet. Dust your surface with flour and roll out the crescent dough.
  • Unroll dough into rectangles, seal seams, and cut oval shapes for bunny faces. Use extra strips of dough to form ears at the top of each oval.
  • Spoon about 1 teaspoon of your desired filling (savory or sweet) into the center of each face. Don’t overfill!
  • Top with a second dough oval. Crimp edges with a fork and use a toothpick to poke a steam hole. Brush with egg wash if using, and sprinkle pink sugar on ears.
