This soothing cinnamon sore throat tea is a warm and healing blend of cinnamon, ginger, and honey in a dairy-free milk base. Ideal for cozy evenings, colds, or just when you need a little comfort in a cup.
1/2tspground cinnamonor use 1 canela stick (Mexican cinnamon stick)
1/2tsppowdered ginger
1tbsphoney
Instructions
Warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steamy but not boiling.
Whisk in the cinnamon (or add your canela stick) and powdered ginger.
Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes (5–6 minutes if using a whole cinnamon stick).
Remove from heat, stir in the honey, and whisk until fully combined.
Strain into your favorite mug if needed and sip slowly.
Notes
You can substitute the milk with water for a lighter tea. Add a splash of lemon for extra vitamin C. Great for kids just be sure it's warm, not hot, and remember no honey for children under 1 year old.
